For nogle dage siden købte jeg Emilio Pucci-skoene på billerne ovenover. Jeg er vild med dem, fordi de både minder mig og Brigitte Bardot med stort lyst hår og sommerhat og Carrie Bradshaw med midi-skirt og lækre sko, der kun sidder fast over tæerne. Jeg købte dem i Kenza i Østerågade i Aalborg, hvor man kan finde lækre kollektionsprøver af couture-modeller fra blandt andre Kenzo og Marc Jacobs. Egentlig har posen fra Galeries Lafayette ikke noget med skoene at gøre, men da jeg synes, den skaber en luksuriøs, parisisk sommerstemning kunne jeg ikke lade være med at tilsætte både den og min store hvide Charleston-fjer til billedet. Den store hvide floppy hat synes jeg gør looket skødesløst, og jeg kan ikke vente til, at jeg skal slentre gennem Paris med den på i sommer.

A few days ago I bought the Emilio Pucci shoes on the pictures above. I really love them because they remind me of both Brigitte Bardot with big blond hair and sunhat and Carrie Bradshaw with midi-skirt and delicate shoes. I bought te shoes in kenza in Østerågade in Aalborg where you can find delicate couture collection pieces from among others Kenzo and Marc Jacobs. Actually the shopping bag from Galeries Lafayette has not got anything to do with the shoes, but because I think it creates a luxurious, parisian summer athmosphere, I couldn't keep myself from adding both the shopping bag and my big white Charleston-looking feather to the picture. I think the big white floppy hat adds a relaxed carelessness and I can't wait till I'm gonna wear it this summer while sauntering through Paris.

Efter Mys fødselsdagsbrunch var jeg på lidt shopping m. nogle veninder, og jeg fandt denne chikke bodystocking i timeglas-facon i Monki.

After My's birthday brunch i went for a little shopping with some friends and I found this very chic body stocking in hourglass-shape in Monki.

Lørdag aften holdte jeg et fødselsdags-cocktail party i lilla-pink-tema for nogle veninder. Yderst sofistikeret og med kulørte cocktails efter desserten og Breakfast at Tiffanys-servietter til maden. Desværre har jeg ingen billeder af min yndlings-cocktail, "Valentines Daisy", men ovenover er der lidt billeder af nogle af de sofistikerede gæster: Elisabeth i sort Charleston-kjole fra Asos, My i vintagekjole fra Paris og hvide strømpebukser (se også looket på nemesisbabe.blogspot.com). Selv havde jeg min Cocktailkjole i Audrey-snit på og mine nye 50'er plateau-sandaler fra Topshop + rød Estee Lauder-læbestift (magen til den Carrie har i sin håndtaske i et af de sidste afsnit af Sex and the city, hvor hun er i Paris) mixet med min fluorescerende pink lip gloss fra Chanel.

Saturday night I was havning a birthday cocktail-party i purple and pink colours for some of my girls. Very sophisticated with coloured cocktails after the sweet and Breakfast at Tiffanys-serviettes for the dinner. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of my absolute favourite cocktail, the "Valentines Daisy". But above you can se some pictures of a few of my sophisticated guests: Elisabeth in a black Charleston-dress from Asos, My in a vintage dress from Paris and white ballet-looking stockings (for more details about the look, please visit nemesisbabe.blogspot.com). I myself was wearing my cocktail dress in Audrey-cut and my new plateau-sandals from Topshop + red Estee Lauder lipstick ( exactly like the one Carrie is carrying in her handbag in one the last episodes of Sex and the city where she's in Paris) mixed with my fluorescent pink lip gloss from Chanel.

50's luxury

For to dage siden, fik jeg de her lækre sommersandaler med posten. De flettede hvide læder og de sommerlige plateau-hæle får mig til at tænke på Marilyn Monroe i 50'erne, men jeg kunne ikke lade være med også at gøre dem lidt tresser-sommerlige ved at kombinere det hvide flet med matte himmelblå tånegle. Desuden synes jeg, den gamle seng i baggrunden tilføjer det sidste retro-luksus-look med sine brune og turkise farver.

2 days ago, I got these lovely summer sandals by post. They make me think of Marilyn Monroe in the 50's because of the weaved white leather and the summer-like plateau heels, but I couldn't keep my self from also adding a little 60's to the look by combining the white weaved leather with mat sky blue toe nails. Furthermore I think the vintage bed in the background completes the retro luxury look with its brown and turquoise colours.
